I am so excited about Testimony Tuesday.  Please share what God has done for you in your life and what scripture you stood on while waiting for it to come to pass.  Email your testimony to livinginthelightwmi@gmail.com and every Tuesday I will share a post on this website to boost believers faith. We know that God is no respecter of persons.  What He does for one, He will do for another.  Let us rejoice in the Goodness of God and celebrate each other's victories as our dreams and desires are manifested in our lives.

A DREAM COME TRUE

It was Les and Connie's desire to go to Hawaii on their honeymoon in 1987.  As the years progressed and their family grew, going to Hawaii remained a dream.  In 2017, a vision board was put together and bible scriptures attached to the board.  We planted a seed in the offering at church trusting God that it would come to pass.  In May of 2019,  we boarded the plane with my brother and his wife and headed to Hawaii for two weeks.  It was a beautiful trip and I thank God for His goodness in bringing it to pass in our lives.  See the above video for footage.  We stood on the following Scriptures:

Celebrating God's Goodness!  See the following glorious testimonies of God's Faithfulness

N.R. from Florida shares her testimony based on Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT.  Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.  Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take."  She says, "Out of all the scriptures from my 30 day "Faith Scriptures" this one really touched my heart.  I was going through some challenges with the closing requirements for my new home, to the point that I thought I was not going to be able to close on my new home.  But after reading this scripture, I knew in my heart that our God, is a faithful God and that although I did not see it, he was working everything out.  I just needed to "keep my faith" and have patience while waiting on Him.  Next week, July 1st is the closing on our new home and everything has fallen into place just the way God planned it for me and my family."

 It's Testimony Tuesday. Have you ever asked yourself what is a testimony and why do we testify? A testimony is simply sharing stories of how God brought you through situations and circumstances in your life. We testify to give God praise and thanksgiving for what He has done in our lives. When we testify, it strengthens our faith and encourages others to keep their faith and trust in God. In 2018, I was listening to a Podcast by Terri Savelle Foy about how she paid off her swimming pool. That encouraged me so much that I thought to myself, If Terri can pay off her swimming pool, then my husband and I can pay of our land. We sought God and planted a financial seed in church. I told God, you are no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34). If you can pay off Terri’s swimming pool then you can help us pay off our land. In February 2019, God made a way and we paid off our land. Whatever you are believing God to help you through, keep walking by faith. I pray you are encouraged and have a wonderful day.

Testimony Tuesday is a way that we can celebrate what God is doing in our lives. Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:22-26 NIV. What has God done for you that you are excited about. One testimony that I would like to share is when I lost the diamond in my wedding ring. After 10 years of marriage, my husband bought me a beautiful diamond ring. One day while putting away items in our garage, I bumped my hand against some boxes. In my spirit, I knew something just happened. I looked down at my ring and my diamond was gone. We never found it but i did not give up. I kept reminding God that He knew exactly were that diamond was. His word says in Matthew 7:7, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." 2 years later, while cleaning out the garage, I told my husband, this is where I lost my diamond and it has to be around here somewhere. He got a broom out and did some cleaning. As he was sweeping, I saw something sparkling in the dust and dirt. I shouted stop, and as I looked down, it was the diamond from my ring. I screamed with excitement praising God. I could have given up but I didn't. We have to stand firm on the word of God knowing, if God said it, so shall it be.
